In August 1969, the Porsche 911 2.2 S took over from the 2.0 S. It is lighter (aluminium bonnet and rear apron) and has more power (180 hp DIN). The new engine is less aggressive and smoother in everyday use, but it retains its typical sportiest-Porsche character from 4000 rpm. Porsche begins its phase of democratisation gently.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
