Owing to the success of the 911 SC Cabriolet, Porsche naturally repeats the operation. Porsche is expanding not only its model catalogue but also its catalogue of options. It now offers the Turbo Look option (forerunner of today’s 4S) for all models in the series. During the five years of production, the engine remained practically unchanged; only the gearbox was replaced at the end of 1986 by a Getrag gearbox with somewhat shorter shifts (G50). Limited special series remained available, such as the “Club Sport” model and a commemorative edition for the 250,000th 911.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
