The Targa model, available at the end of 1995, therefore exists only in the 285 hp version and will leave the assembly line with rear-wheel drive only. This model introduced a completely new system with a large panoramic glass roof that could slide beneath the rear window. This mechanically very complex system replaces the old removable Targa roof that had been used since the early days of the 911. The Targa, based on the Carrera Cabriolet, is fitted with model-specific wheels. Apart from a few minor rattles and creaks and the stiffness typical of a cabriolet, the Targa offers, thanks to its bright cabin, a driving pleasure that has no equal in this class.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
