Porsche, aware of the increased weight of its car, offered an updated engine range from April 1951. A new 1300 cc engine, derived from the VW engine, sits above the basic 1100 engine. It offers only 4 hp more, but more torque in return. A 1300 S version (for the super sports car) with an output of 60 hp at 5,500 rpm completes the range.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
