The 356 “Pre A” range between 1950 and 1955 already includes the 1100 (40 hp), the 1300 (44 hp) and the 1300 S (60 hp) when the 1500 (60 hp) is added in 1952. In 1953, the 1500 is reduced to 55 hp, probably to set it apart from the 1500 S (70 hp), which then leaves the assembly line. The 1955 “Pré A” 1500s, Coupé and Cabriolet, were called “Continental” for the American market, but as Lincoln had already used that name before, Porsche gave up keeping that designation for the 1956 model year.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
