At the end of 1975, Porsche launched for a single model year a 912 E (E for injection) only as a coupé, developed and marketed specifically for the American continent. This time, the new Porsche 912 fully adopted the base and exterior appearance of the Porsche 911 2.7. As it was intended for the American market, the headlight surrounds are, naturally, chrome and the bumpers are fitted with large bumper guards. Fitted as standard with steel wheels, almost all models received Fuchs wheels as an option. The 2-litre, 90 hp engine of the Porsche 914/4 was adopted.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
