Porsche’s smallest SUV is facelifted for the second time. For this re-facelift, the engineers in Zuffenhausen have refined the drivetrain, the steering feel and the settings of the PASM active suspension. In doing so they have raised the performance level of this family SUV (4.73 m), a conquest model of which, of the 600,000 units sold worldwide since 2014, 80% went to new customers of the brand. The Macan receives a new front bumper that changes its face, with a large black or partially painted grille that can be chosen from among the (very numerous) options. The side protective mouldings have a new textured finish and the rear bumper takes on a tougher look. There are also new wheels and new body colours, available as an option or by special order. The aerodynamics have also been slightly reworked, as has the optional adaptive cruise control. A few changes have also been made in the cabin. The interior has a new centre console in which the physical buttons have been replaced by touch-sensitive ones. The fine steering wheel from the 911 has been integrated into the cockpit and the instrumentation has also been renewed. So the facelift is not revolutionary, but above all offers the opportunity to rediscover one of the sportiest SUVs.
You will find more information about the Macan (videos, etc.) on the official website, clicking here .
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
