From one generation to the next, Porsche models strive to keep a family resemblance. So when it comes to a simple mid-life facelift, the changes can only be subtle, with a few exceptions. The Panamera is a good example, since one of the most important styling changes is the standard fitment of the Sport Design front bumper, which was previously available as a paid option. The new Turbo S version, which replaces the old Turbo, has larger side air intakes. Whatever the model variant, the new car can also be recognised by its redesigned rear panel, which, as on the 992 and the Taycan, is now made in a single piece. A few new wheel designs and colours are also introduced, along with new steering wheels and modernised multimedia functions. If outside and inside it is a matter of playing spot the seven differences, under the bonnet it is more a game of musical chairs. The 550 hp Turbo takes a back seat and leaves the field clear for the Panamera Turbo S, which extracts 620 hp and 820 Nm from the same 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. That is still 60 hp less than the Turbo S E-Hybrid, but without the heavy battery, the 5.05 m long saloon, which reaches as much as 5.20 m in the Executive version, can offer even more performance: 3.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h and a top speed of 315 km/h. But there is also news in the plug-in hybrids, which now account for the majority of sales: the new Panamera 4 S E-Hybrid is being introduced. It combines a 440 hp 2.9 twin-turbo V6 with a 136 hp electric motor and the 8-speed PDK dual-clutch gearbox to reach an output of 560 hp. These are almost the same figures as the old combustion-engined Turbo and far more than the 4 E-Hybrid with its 462 hp. The Turbo S E-Hybrid, which until now was fitted with a 680 hp V8 engine, will nevertheless return soon and with even more ambitious goals. All three have the same larger-capacity battery to offer more electric range.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
