Now comes the rear-wheel-drive Taycan, which develops 326 hp, which can be raised to 408 hp with the Overboost function, and has a torque of 345 Nm. The 79.2 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of 431 km. For an extra charge (5,772), the 93.4 kWh Performance Plus battery increases the range to 484 km, the output to 380 hp and 476 hp respectively, and the torque to 357 Nm. The rear electric motor remains the EM 245/130 of the 4S and continues to be paired with a two-speed gearbox. The Taycan supports very high charging rates: 225 kW with the small battery and 270 kW with the large one, which allows optimum charging from 5 % to 80 % in 22.5 min. In practice, this means you gain 100 km in 5 min, if you believe Porsche. At home, on a conventional power socket, this time will be more than 40 hours...
You will find more information about the Taycan (videos, etc.) on the official website, clicking here .

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
