As far as the drivetrain is concerned, the Cross Turismo takes only the best of the Taycan, namely the large 93.4 kWh battery and the all-wheel-drive configuration with two motors. Maximum power ranges from the 476 hp of the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo to the 761 hp of the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. Like the saloon, it can charge at up to 270 kW, which allows 100 km of range in just over 5 minutes, provided you find a suitable charging station.
The Cross Turismo comes with air spring suspension with variable ground clearance as standard, whose nominal value has been increased by 2 cm compared with the saloon, or even by 3 cm with the Offroad Design package, which includes specific bumpers and side skirts. Without becoming a true off-roader, the Cross Turismo can therefore venture without difficulty onto country tracks, where its “Gravel” driving mode should ensure maximum traction on earth or any other slippery surface. This “Gravel” mode acts not only on throttle response, but also on the rear differential lock, the springs and the dampers.
