As for the powertrain, the Cross Turismo takes only the best of the Taycan, namely the large 93.4 kWh battery and the all-wheel-drive configuration with two motors. The maximum output ranges from 476 hp for the Taycan 4 Cross Turismo to 761 hp for the Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo. Like the saloon, it can be charged at up to 270 kW, which allows 100 km of range to be recovered in just over 5 minutes, provided you find a suitable charging station.
The Cross Turismo comes as standard with air suspension with variable ground clearance, whose nominal value has been increased by 2 cm compared with the saloon. With the Offroad design package, with specific bumpers and side skirts, the value can even be increased by 3 cm. Although the Cross Turismo is not an off-roader, it can travel without problems on rutted tracks, where the “Gravel” driving mode should guarantee maximum traction on gravel and other slippery surfaces. The Gravel mode affects not only the throttle response, but also the rear-axle differential lock, the springs and the dampers.
