It is not obvious at first glance, but the Cayenne swaps its bonnet, wings, headlights, radiator grille and bumpers for a new front end that is more muscular and more functional. With air intakes that can be covered and “Air Blades” that increase the oxygen supply to the new engines, this giant of the tarmac wants to keep setting the benchmark for large, sporty SUVs even at mid-career (it was born in 2010, after a first generation in 2003). The rear has not been forgotten either, with redesigned rear lights, more horizontal lines, including a chrome strip, a relocated number plate and a rear apron that now incorporates the exhaust tailpipes. Finally, the interior has been fitted with the new small-diameter sports steering wheel from the 918 Spyder, with integrated gearshift paddles. The changes are greater in the hybrid version, which adopts the Panamera’s new plug-in E-Hybrid. The lithium-ion battery now has a capacity of 10.8 kWh, which gives a range of 18 to 36 km in ZEV mode with a top speed of 125 km/h. The power of the electric motor has been doubled to 70 kW (95 hp).It is not obvious at first glance, but the Cayenne swaps its bonnet, wings, headlights, radiator grille and bumpers for a new front end that is more muscular and more functional. * The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
