Since its launch in 2002, Porsche has sold almost 580,000 Cayennes (272,000 of the first generation and more than 303,000 of the second). The new generation of the Cayenne, presented today, will reach the market in five different versions: Cayenne S, Cayenne Turbo, Cayenne Diesel, Cayenne S Diesel and, as a novelty, the Cayenne S E-Hybrid, which is the first plug-in hybrid in the premium SUV market. On the bodywork there are small changes to the front and rear bumpers, as well as details in the headlights. In the interior, the Macan’s steering wheel has been adopted, which was inspired by the steering wheel of the 918 Spyder. The rear seats have been revised and front seat ventilation is now also available on this SUV. Improving energy efficiency seems to have been Porsche’s main concern with this new generation. CO2 emissions targets oblige manufacturers to concentrate on this aspect.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
