You need a good eye to tell the facelifted Macan from the original model, which came onto the market five years ago. In the game of seven differences, the skid plate has disappeared under the front bumper and has been replaced by a design that extends the grille vertically. To be honest, we do not find it very inspiring, but attention is immediately drawn to the headlights, which come with the famous four-LED signature as standard, both front and rear. The rear is where the new Macan differs most. Here too everything revolves around the eyes, with dark make-up in the style of a Kiss singer, joining the lights with a black strip crossed by an LED bar that marks every braking. A signature that picks up the Porsche design codes applied to all models since the generation of the 718 Boxster and Cayman. The faux diffuser has been retained and the exhaust tailpipes are now either twin and rectangular (previously quad) or quad and round (which, incidentally, makes it possible to tell the Macan from the Macan S, although the former can also be fitted with the latter as an option, do you follow?). If you really want to stand out from the crowd, opt for Miami Blue or Mamba Green, which turns every head and puts you in the role of a footballer in front of his groupies. White or grey will do just fine!
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
