The Porsche Panamera is the five-door saloon from our favourite manufacturer. The Panamera aims to compete directly with the Maserati Quattroporte, the Mercedes CLS and S-Class and other Aston Martin Rapides. The Panamera, whose name was chosen as a tribute to the Mexican race called the Carrera Panamericana, must combine the sportiness of a GT with the comfort of a saloon while keeping fuel consumption and CO2 emissions under control. The base versions with rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive will reach the market one year after the start of sales, that is, at the end of 2010.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
