The Porsche Panamera is the five-door saloon from our favourite manufacturer. The Panamera is destined to compete directly with the Maserati Quattroporte, the Mercedes CLS and S-Class and other Aston Martin Rapides. The Panamera, whose name was chosen as a tribute to the Mexican race called the Carrera Panamericana, aims to combine the sportiness of a GT with the comfort of a saloon, while keeping fuel consumption and CO2 emissions under control. The S, 4S and Turbo versions will be the first to reach the market at the end of 2009. The Turbo stands out from the other models in the range with its more massive front end, the four exhaust tailpipes and the red brake calipers.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
