After eight glorious years, it is time for a successor! The “phase 2” Boxster is wider and, above all, sits better on its track and its wheels, whose diameter has grown by one inch. The large open air intakes at the front and the oval-shaped central exhaust tailpipe have a captivating effect. Some details are ingenious, such as the special integration of the third brake light into the rear boot lid, flush with the soft top housing, or the ability to operate the soft top at low speed. Overall, this new model, with its truly sporty roadster spirit, both in spirit and in form, remains a little different from its competitors. It should be noted that Porsche is not jumping on the coupé-cabriolet bandwagon, but prefers the true spirit of the roadster.
