After eight glorious years, it is time for a successor! The “phase 2” Boxster is wider and, above all, sits better on its track and its wheels, which have grown by one inch in diameter. The large open air intakes at the front and the oval central exhaust outlet have a captivating effect. Some details are charming, such as the distinctive integration of the third brake light into the rear boot lid, flush with the soft top cover, or the ability to operate the soft top at low speed. Overall, this new model, with its truly sporty roadster spirit, both in spirit and in form, remains a little different from its competitors. It should be noted that Porsche is not jumping on the coupé-cabriolet bandwagon, but prefers the true spirit of the roadster. The S version naturally accompanies its little brother in its evolution.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
