The Volkswagen Porsche 914 is presented in the year. The 914 was commissioned by VW from Porsche as the successor to the Karmann Ghia Coupé and was to be an affordable small sports coupé bearing the Wolfsburg badge. At the same time, Porsche was thinking of broadening its range to distance itself from the 911 and was already aware that it was risky to put all its eggs in one basket. In 1969 a financial and commercial solution was finally found, in which each of the two companies received 50% of the profits of the operation. The 914 was the only car to carry both the Porsche badge and the VW badge.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
