Given this very good road stability, the Macan will not keep us waiting. At least at the start. Porsche’s engines were too big or had too specific an architecture, with the horizontally opposed cylinders of the 911, so they were not used. The Macan’s engines come from the VW-Audi parts bin and have been adapted to the house style. The 3.0-litre turbo V6, in the 258 hp version, with consumption of 6.3 to 6.1 l/100 km (164 to 159 g CO2/km), will play the role of service provider. The Audi 313 hp version is not being continued, at least for the moment. From now on we can count on Porsche multiplying the equipment and the variants. Around the large wheels, the high-performance audio system and the electrically operated tailgate, the equipment can be extended with dynamic main-beam lighting, air suspension and many other refinements.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
