The Porsche 356 B Carrera GT includes a series of modifications aimed at reducing the weight to just over 1000 kg. The Carrera GT is intended for competition and, for this reason, replaces the steel bonnet and doors with aluminium ones and the glass windows with Plexiglas. The bumper overriders also disappear. In the cabin, the bucket seats return, along with a wooden steering wheel. Connecting rods, camshafts, large carburettors, special spark plugs: the preparation also includes a wide selection of gearbox ratios. The Carrera GT has a self-locking rear axle as standard to match its high power output and optimise traction.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
