The Speedster did not have a very long career: it was produced from 1955 as the “Pre A” and from 1956 to 1958 as the “A”... In 1959 it was replaced by the D-Cabrio. However, in these three years it was built in a wide variety of versions: 60 hp as the base model, 75 hp as the “Super” version, 100 hp as the Carrera and Carrera de Luxe, 110 hp as the Carrera GT... so many Speedsters and so many versions that in the end 2910 examples of the A were produced, 167 of them as Carreras!
