The new Porsche 911 Carrera GTS is nothing other than a 992 Carrera S that has decided to show off a “summer body” worthy of the name, with more powerful mechanics and a sharper body, to shine this summer on the coast. Available in five body variants (911 Carrera GTS Coupé + Cabriolet, 911 Carrera 4 GTS Coupé + Cabriolet and 911 Targa 4 GTS), the new addition to the 911 range is fitted with a 3.0 twin-turbo flat engine whose power has been raised to 480 hp (+30 hp compared with the Carrera S) and a maximum torque of 570 Nm. This engine, whose layout is typical of the model, is paired with an 8-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox or a 7-speed manual gearbox. To maximise the performance of the 911 Carrera GTS compared with a Carrera S, Porsche’s engineers have not only increased the engine power by 30 hp, but have also fine-tuned the chassis with suspension derived from the 911 Turbo with PASM (Porsche Active Suspension Management) as standard. The brakes have also been taken from the queen of the motorways, with larger discs and an even more direct bite. Added to this is sports suspension lowered by 10 mm compared with the Carrera S and new wheels painted in black with centre-lock fastening. Externally, the GTS stands out for many other details that are finished in satin black or, as an option, in gloss black. The front spoiler lip, the bonnet slats and the GTS logos come in this colour, as do the frames of the standard LED PDLS Plus (Porsche Dynamic Light System Plus) headlights. On the 911 Targa 4 GTS, this also includes the metal roll bar and the Targa logo.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
