Porsche had to make a statement to celebrate 50 years of its Zuffenhausen flagship, the 911. The German marque decided to produce a limited edition that will bear the name “Porsche 911 50th anniversary edition”. Under the bonnet there is nothing revolutionary: a Carrera S, which is also available with the engine kit that raises the beast’s power to 430 hp. As for the looks, it is hard to miss the wider rear track, which is normally the hallmark of all-wheel-drive models. A visual tribute to the famous “Fuchs” wheels, with their matt black colour and polished star, are the exclusive 20-inch wheels. There are chrome inserts at the front, in the air intakes and in the grille slats, as well as at the rear, in the panel between the lights. Another highlight is the bi-xenon headlights, which feature the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS). For this anniversary series Porsche has chosen two exclusive colours, solid graphite grey and geyser grey metallic, in addition to solid black. The model name “911 50” can be found on the boot lid, in the embroidery of the headrests, in the two-tone logo of the rev counter and on the aluminium door sills. The aluminium frame of the side windows and the Sport Design exterior mirrors integrated into the door panels also catch the eye. Many small nods to the original 911: the green numbers on the dials, the white needles and the central axes covered with a silver cap. The strip of fabric in the centre of the leather/fabric upholstery also recalls the “houndstooth” fabric seat checks that were fashionable in the 1960s. The full leather interior is available in quartz grey or black with contrasting stitching.

* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
