To mark its birthday, the Porsche 911 receives a particularly sharp sports version. The main novelty is the introduction of rear-wheel steering. Up to a speed of 50 km/h, the rear wheels can turn in the opposite direction to the front ones to increase agility. At speeds above 80 km/h, they turn in the same direction to increase stability at high speeds. The Porsche’s rear wheels are driven by two electric motors. As for the engine, the GT3 is right up to date with direct injection. The 3.8-litre flat-6 extracts 475 hp from its crankcase and can reach 9,000 rpm. The power is transmitted to the 20-inch rear wheels via a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox. And for those who are still not satisfied, the marque is preparing the GT3 Cup, which is not homologated for the road and is even more radical. The 3.8-litre diesel engine dispenses with direct injection and delivers 460 hp, but in exchange the weight of the competition car has been considerably reduced. The dual-clutch gearbox has been replaced by a six-speed sequential gearbox.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
