It is hard to stay at the top, especially when you are a sports car. The Porsche 911 has brilliantly accomplished this task for more than 45 years. The 997 “Phase 2”, equipped with the new PDK dual-clutch gearbox, is newer than you might think... This 911 debuts a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox called PDK (Porsche Doppelkupplung). This gearbox, developed by ZF and offered as an option (more than 3,500 euros), naturally has a fully automatic mode, ideal for the city, but also, and above all, a sequential mode for those who want to have fun on the circuit. The PDK is a good replacement for the Tiptronic S, especially at a time when the competition offers a high-quality selection (R-Tronic at Audi, F1 at Ferrari...). Gear changes are ultra-fast and smooth, without the slightest jerk, even if you keep your foot on the accelerator.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
