For the 1992 model year, the engines are revised, after having had many teething problems. Sealing is reinforced, the dual-mass flywheel changes supplier (LUK) and the twin-ignition distributors are cooled to prevent belt breakage. The whole range benefits from this, swapping its angular mirrors for the bullet-shaped ones from the RS. The driver receives an airbag, as does the passenger, along with new 16-inch wheels, which are lighter and better ventilated for the brakes. The windscreen wipers are pressed down better by two springs instead of one. These small evolutions are meant to keep customers waiting until the facelift...
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
