At over 40 years old, the 997 generation is no exception to the rule and wins over even the last of the grumblers with a 911 in the prime of life... The fifth generation combines nostalgia and modernity. In terms of performance and technology, it has not changed much compared with the 996, but the bodywork recovers what defined the model’s image, namely the round headlights. The interior also takes up the dashboard of the original 911, the window edges regain their original place; in short, there is no wish to give up the image of the 911, which the 996 perhaps neglected a little. The S version, presented at the same time as the base model, stands out with its red brake calipers, a lowered chassis and 19-inch wheels as standard. So the S once again means, as on the other Porsche models, power and no longer aesthetics!
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
