All the characteristics of the 911 Turbo Type 997 have been improved once again: a completely new engine with a displacement of 3.8 l, 20 hp more power and a top speed of 312 km/h (like a TGV), with lower consumption and weight. Although it does not claim to be the sportiest of the 911 family (that is what the GT3 and the GT2 are for), the Turbo masterfully displays its “all-rounder” talent, as capable of taking the children to school as of burning tyres on the track. Seen from the front, the mirrors are wider, the slats of the side air intakes in the bumper are titanium-coloured and the LED daytime running light replaces the small fog lights. Also note that the Porsche 911 Turbo offers for the first time the option of directional headlights. At the rear there are, of course, the new LED lights, and the widened exhaust tailpipes are made of steel with special chrome plating. As always, a feast for the eyes...
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
