The 997 GT3 is built on the basis of the 997 Carrera body, incorporating the aerodynamic kit available as an option for the latter, as well as specific front and rear bumpers. This chassis is lowered by 30 mm compared with a “basic” Carrera S. The 3.6-litre flat engine comes from the racing family, which is also used in the 997 Turbo, and differs in construction from the other 911 models. With 115 hp/L, it has one of the highest specific outputs available in series production for a naturally aspirated engine, ahead of the Ferrari F430 (113.7 hp/L). Warning: the GT3 is a circuit car approved for road use. It is an extremely powerful car, which revs up very quickly (like a two-stroke engine), but whose comfort is very spartan... a model for experienced customers!
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
