The Porsche 911 GT2 owes its name to the class in which it is intended to compete. The GT2 is a Turbo racing car and, although the two cars look very much alike, the GT2 has an imposing rear wing. More subtly, you also notice that the front spoiler is equally specific and has a wider aerodynamic blade and two fins in the centre of the side air intakes, as well as a small black lip on the upper edge of the bumper that evacuates the hot air from the front radiators. These small adjustments considerably worsen the drag coefficient (0.34), but provide greater stability at high speeds. Inside, it is the Turbo with a GT3 spirit, that is, a minimum of comfort. As a competition car homologated for the road, the Porsche 911 GT2 perfectly fulfils the definition of a sports car, all the more so as, icing on the cake, in everyday use it is almost as easy to drive as a “simple” 911 Carrera 2! That is, the icing on the cake.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
