While the 4S is a bit neglected, the 2S brilliantly corrects this small flaw. It also has the “Turbo look”. The spoiler and side skirts are sportier and the body height is lower than on a “normal” Carrera. As a result, the 18-inch 5-spoke (hollow) wheels, supplied as standard on the French market, look better. Finally, the car, available only as a Coupé, bears the “Carrera S” emblem beneath a specific bonnet grille, split into two parts as on the 356 (nostalgia, if you like...). Note that all Carrera 2 and S models, unless the owner has made modifications, can be recognised by their orange front and rear indicators, whereas on the all-wheel-drive versions they are white. It is also important to mention that, unlike the Carrera 4S, which fully adopted the Turbo’s chassis, the Carrera “2S” retained the chassis of the normal Carrera, with the exception of the stiffer dampers and the springs lowered by 10 mm at the front and 20 mm at the rear.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
