The Porsche 911 (also called the C series) underwent a gentle evolution for the first time, as had already happened with the 356. Aesthetically, it gained chrome trim on the side sills and new door handles. In the cabin, the dashboard received small refinements, with an improved finish and revised ergonomics of the controls (windscreen wipers, indicators). But the most important changes are, as is often the case, under the bonnet. The C type has a new 2.2-litre engine, which better meets US emissions standards. The 911 E, positioned above the “T”, now delivers 155 hp with fuel injection. It has an aluminium bonnet. For road behaviour, Porsche adds anti-roll bars, four disc brakes as standard on all versions and a new steering box.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
