It is striking that production of the Targa at that time was roughly equal to that of the Coupé, whereas today the model has become relatively marginal. Power in 1974 was only 150 hp and the manual gearbox had only four gears, with a fifth optional. In September 1975, engine power rose to 165 hp. At the same time, the weight increased by a few kilograms, to 1120 kg. Two years later, the 911 was replaced by the 911 SC.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
