For the first time in a long while, the term “Carrera” returns to the catalogue. It is worth remembering that it refers to the famous “Carrera Panamericana” or “Pan Am” race of the 1950s. This version is very similar to the legendary Carrera RS 2.7, but with a much more road-oriented specification. With the new bumpers compliant with US standards and the “Porsche” band between the rear lights, it loses the charm of the “classic 911”, but retains its very sporting genes. The engine receives a more modern Bosch K-Jetronic injection. The power of 210 hp is identical and the weight is also very similar, so the level of performance remains very advantageous.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
