The Porsche Carrera RS 3.0L is less well known and still less common than the legendary 911 2.7 RS, although it is an even more powerful evolution of that model. It was lightened thanks to thinner panels and glass and has a revised engine developing 230 hp. As for the bodywork, the Carrera 3.0 RS introduces a flat spoiler and widened rear wings, which would be found again the following year on the 930. In addition, lighter polyester bumpers were introduced, along with a large additional air intake at the front, which cools an additional oil cooler, as well as two ducts that direct airflow towards the disc brakes. The cabin is completely stripped out and leaves room for just two bucket seats with seat belts. The chassis, suspension and dampers were reinforced, of course. (including RSR production: 109 units)
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
