The meteoric acceleration and sovereign handling of the model year 2010 911 Turbo were not enough for Porsche. So the 911 Turbo S had to go through the gym. Compared with the Turbo Sport Chrono, from which it inherits all the standard equipment items, it has changed only slightly. The Turbo S still has the seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox (PDK), Porsche Traction Management (PTM), the active engine mount (Dynamic Engine Mount), the Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) rear-axle differential and ceramic brakes. In case you still fear not being the fastest at the green light, Launch Control is also on the standard equipment list. Porsche thus shows that it was possible to surpass the Turbo even further, since the “S” completes the sprint from 0 to 200 in under 11 seconds.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
