Like a good wine, the Porsche 911 will also keep getting better and better. Just seven months after the launch of the new 911, Porsche has brought the cabriolet to market, which is truly the last word when it comes to the sum of the technologies incorporated and the fact of being able to drive with the wind in your hair. The new soft top has been revised and improved, and folds or unfolds automatically in 20 seconds at the touch of a button. The Porsche 911 convertible weighs barely more than the coupé and offers a high level of passive safety, thanks among other things to the automatic rollover protection and the two head airbags concealed beneath the mouldings of the side windows. The S version, which comes onto the market at the same time as the base cabriolet, is set apart by its red brake calipers, a lowered chassis and 19-inch wheels as standard. So the S, as on the other Porsche models, once again means power and no longer aesthetics.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
