Wider and more powerful, but how does it behave on the road? Depending on driving conditions, between 5% and 40% of the engine’s power is sent to the front wheels. On the winding roads of the circuit, what impresses is of course the acceleration, combined with exceptional road stability. It does not budge, even when you floor the throttle at 120 km/h on small mountain roads. This is mainly down to the gearbox, but also to the widening of the rear wheel arches and their width. The front differential is the same as on the previous model, but the gear ratio has been changed in view of the change of tyres. The 4S is therefore not just “showing off”, but also efficient, although the car remains slightly less stable than the 2S... However, the narrow soft top accentuates the model’s wide wings: a treat for the eyes!
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
