With the official presentation of the Porsche 911 Type 997, the career of the Porsche 996 comes to an end. As with the Boxster, Porsche offers its flagship model an exclusive and improved version to celebrate the end of its career in a fitting manner. On the basis of the Porsche 996 Turbo Coupé and Cabriolet, a small magic “S” has been added to the logos, to offer enthusiasts something more than a simple special series... With the 996 generation, the Porsche 911 Turbo, with its 6-cylinder flat engine fed by two turbos at 1.8 bar, had already reached a peak of efficiency and sportiness, but some must have thought that this was not enough... The Turbo S is not only more powerful, but also a version distinguished by numerous details, even better standard equipment and specific Turbo S badges in the interior.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
