This variant, even older than the cabriolet, has now come of age with a glass-roof concept that is really easy to use and simple to operate, which has nothing in common with that of the first 911 Targa. The Targa is only available with all-wheel drive, which does not make it any worse. It must be said that the Zuffenhausen engineers have managed to retain the temperament of a rear-wheel-drive car. This drive system consists of a viscous multi-plate clutch and distributes the torque between the front and rear axles as required. With a minimum share of 5 % on the front axle, this distribution rises to 35 % in normal driving and can even reach 40 % in extreme conditions. The 4S Targa offers you the comforts of a cabriolet without its drawbacks, the magical Turbo Look of the 911s, the extra power of the S versions and, lastly, the safety of the all-wheel-drive versions. What more could you ask for?
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
