The second generation of the 911 GTS has been announced. A four-way hit for Porsche, which presents the Carrera GTS, the Carrera GTS Cabriolet, the Carrera 4 GTS and the Carrera 4 GTS Cabriolet at the same time: new family members for a GTS that forms the link between the 911 Carrera S and the 911 GT3. This 911 GTS, a sort of 911 ++, delivers 430 hp (30 hp more than the Carrera S), released by a 3.8-litre 6-cylinder flat engine. The different variants also have various particularities, such as the Sport Chrono package and the active PASM damper system with a ten-millimetre lowering. The coupé with manual gearbox has the highest top speed, at 306 km/h. Open or closed versions, rear-wheel or all-wheel drive, 7-speed manual gearbox or 7-speed PDK gearbox enrich the range of possibilities. Other equipment includes 20-inch wheels, trimmed wheel arches, black chrome exhaust tailpipes, black lacquered mouldings on the air intakes, GT logos, a revised cabin and bi-xenon headlights. Official presentation at the upcoming Los Angeles Motor Show (the American market is bigger).
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
