The 4S of this generation is the Turbo version with the engine taken out and the wing also gone, which highlights the exceptionally wide wheel arches. The spoiler and side skirts are sportier and the body height is 10 mm lower at the front and 20 mm lower at the rear (sports chassis option) than that of a “normal” C4. In this way the 18-inch wheels, with the same design as those of the Turbo, look better, and behind them you can admire the red brake calipers, which also come from the Turbo. Finally, the car, available only as a coupé, bears the “Carrera 4S” emblem. The 993 4S has had the Turbo’s chassis from the outset. The 4S also weighs 30 kg more than the Carrera 4, owing to the wide wheel arches, the 5-spoke wheels without hollow chambers (unlike the Turbo) and the more complete equipment. In this model, the sporting character has been put in brackets in favour of a magical line...
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
