With the 2.4S, Porsche underlines the sporting stature of its 911. The model features a specific front spoiler and clearly widened rear wings to fit more powerful tyres. The suspension was also stiffened to offer better road behaviour, especially on circuits, for which the 911 2.4 S is predestined. To improve road behaviour, Porsche redesigned some specific engine parts, such as the oil tank, which was moved in front of the rear axle. This gave rise to a second small filler neck on the right rear wing, not to be confused with the fuel filler on the left front wing. The two fog lamps installed in the grille were at the time a very popular option among night-time drivers.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
