Derived from the Carrera 2.7 L, the Carrera 3.0 adopts for the first time the increase in displacement to 3 litres (2994 cm3) inaugurated with the 911 Turbo. Bosch® K-Jetronic injection provides an output of 200 hp at 6000 rpm and a maximum torque of 26 mkg at 4200 rpm. The 4-speed gearbox is the type 915 (or Sportomatic as an option).
