Bosch Jetronic injection was introduced on the 911 S, which improved fuel consumption in the period after the oil crisis, but the lower power led the sportiest customers to switch to more expensive models such as the 911 Carrera. The new 3.0-litre 911 Carrera, introduced in 1975, then spelled the end of the 911 S, which was pushed aside to make room for the brand-new 924.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
