With a 2-litre engine producing 160 hp at 6,600 rpm, the 911 S offers sharper handling and better responsiveness in the upper part of the rev counter. The camshafts, valves and cylinder heads were modified to achieve better filling at high revs. The chassis was also fine-tuned with a larger front anti-roll bar, a rear anti-roll bar and firmer Koni dampers. The 1969 model year adopts Bosch mechanical injection, a magnesium crankcase that saves a few kilograms and a front oil cooler (in the right-hand wing). The 911 S now produces 170 hp.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
