The 911 “L” was replaced by the “E”. The name comes from the change of the engine to a fuel-injection system (“E” for Einspritz). Compared with the first models of 1964, the wheels are further apart. But you really have to place two different cars side by side to notice. For newcomers there is no room for error, as the Porsche 911 2.0 E only ever existed with the lengthened wheelbase.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
