When Porsche launched the 2-litre 911, a flat-6 was chosen (a 6-cylinder flat engine) and it was fitted under the rear lid of Stuttgart’s newest model. Its architecture, combined with air cooling (a technical solution already used in the Porsche 356 with its four-cylinder flat engine), quickly gives it an unmistakable sound, which will decisively shape the image of the Porsche 911.
* The weight is the maximum measured weight (EC standard).
** The power figures refer to vehicles with a manual gearbox (except Cayenne and Panamera).
*** The value is the one published by Flat6 Magazine or LVA (average of good and very good), which in our opinion is the closest to the market price, with a slight tendency to overvalue older models. For this purpose, the vehicle is assumed to have covered an average of 10,000 km per year. We do not give any value for current models.
